The Golden Rule to Proper Candle Burning

The Golden Rule to Proper Candle Burning

This is not known to many candle lovers out there....but it is super important. The golden rule to candle burning: Trim the wick!

Long, charred (untrimmed) wicks can create uncontrolled burns and can be dangerous.

Plus you’ll burn through your candle faster AND you may get black soot around your pretty candle jars🫣👎

For the best candle burning experience: Trim your wooden wick to about 1/8." The shorter height allows the wax to travel up the wick to feed the flame properly.

If there’s too much “dead wood”, the flame may not stay lit😱

So, PLEASE take the charred tips of the wooden wick off before you re-light your candles.

You can use wick trimmers, nail clippers, or even your fingers.
